It was to block a trade to another team. It pretty much meant nothing in terms of the Twins getting him.

I know it was to block a trade, but in the same aspect they could get "stuck" with him. (Which would be awesome)!

If I were a Sox fan I'd be worrying about the playoffs and meeting up w/ the Twins as well.

If I were a ChiSox fan....I wouldnt be afraid of the playoffs or the Twins in the playoffs, even if they got Soriano and coaxed Morris and Puckett out of retirement.

I bet the White Soxs don't make the playoffs. I am not saying the Twins will, but I think Cleveland might sneak up on the White Soxs and take the AL Central lead. The AL Central lead is down to 8.5 and the Indians show no sign of stopping.

I am comparing the 2003 Cardinals(NFL) to the Indians and the 2003 Vikings(NFL) to the White Soxs...

I think thats taking it a little too far. 8.5 games is an extreme amount to make up in a month.

Why do you put an S at the end of Sox every time? Sox is already plural. It bugs me that you do that EVERYTIME.

The only way the Indians catch the White Sox in the Central is if the Sox suffer a major meltdown in the final 6 weeks, while not impossible it is improbable. The Indians have a chance at the Wild Card and while it is not as glamourus as winning the division you have to take your playoff appearences where you can get them (i'm a Red Sox fan, i know of what i speak!).
