    Anyone remember..

the Hardball series from Accolade? Man I remember playing them on my PC. One of my favourite baseball game series to date. Up there with Tony Larussa Baseball.

What ever happened to this series for the PC?

    Ahh the good old days!!

I had it for Commodore 64. You had 2 teams to choose from, that's it. Loved that game.

I played that series all the way through HB6. It was one of those games that always kept your attention.

I remember playing them on the Sega Genesis. I was a stud at that game. Many gaming hours went into playing that game.

It was the Champs and the All-Stars, wasn't it?

I remember getting Hardball 2 for my OLD PC-XT (10 MHz, baby!) I remembered thinking how cool it was because you could actually pick between 8 real stadiums and even make your own players and teams.

As far as I recall, Hardball died after Hardball 6. Accolade in general was releasing really bad sportsgames around that time. Anyone remember Unnecessary Roughness?

I played it for the Amiga and PC. I also still have them for both. Yep I'm a pack rat when it comes to games. I can't find my wedding pics but can easily go grab a few old pc or console games I had 20 years ago...

Ya I remember them also, I played from Hardball 3-6.

Very fun game, I loved the customization. I think if they revived that series that it would blow a lot of these games out of the water.

I agree. To bad they discontinued the series. Tony Larussa Baseball was another great series. Earl Weaver Baseball to mention another one. Anyone remember this series?

I played Tony Larussa 96 for several years. There was a website that updated the rosters so I played it for 3 years probably. That is my favorite baseball game of all time.

Yeah, I used to play a ton of games with the 96 version of TLR 3. Too bad #4 stunk so bad...

I think LaRussa 4 is a prime example of "what the heck did you do?"
