Re: Kent has an inability to deal with black players
I read the article put up by Fox Sports on that issue. Bradley's comments seem a bit self serving IMO. I don't know the full story on their feud but bringing up the race issue as a way to express beef with Kent seems a bit low to me.
Yes black players in MLB have dwindled down to 8% but that's due more to outside things then racism. The fact that other sports like basketball and football attracts more athletic guys and easier to make the big bucks seems to be lost on Bradley.

Just read this a while ago.... how do you know who to believe?
On one hand... Kent has proven himself as a jerk in the past.
On the other hand... Bradley seems a little whacko for me at times.... and referring to himself in the 3rd person in the article bothers me also.
Its a tossup... so I will reserve all judgement until one of the two proves that he is not a bigger jerk than the other.

The entire thing is very odd and I'm sure it's not good for the Dodgers clubhouse. That type of stuff needed to stay inside the clubhouse.Comment

Re: Kent has an inability to deal with black players
they both accuse each other of being bad teammates. you know what, they both are right. this does nothing except to hurt the rest of the 23 other guys. i am more critical of bradley, though, as he elevated the issue publicly. even if kent is racially insensitive, keep it inside the clubhouse.
this all started with kent criticizing bradley of not scoring from first on a double. technically speaking, kent is right, a speedy guy like bradley should be scoring from first on a double.Believe + Receive = Become

Yes both Kent & Bradley are "hot headed"
but here is something odd: (from Foxsports.com)
Bradley accused the media of coming to his locker first Tuesday because he is black. Kent had not yet arrived at his locker.
wouldnt the media go to the first person at the locker in this instance?Comment

Bradley is a nut case and I am so glad the Dodgers took him off our hands.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Kent has always been a whacko jerk even when he was with the Giants. Who remembers the dugout shuffle he had with Bonds? And dont even start and blame that incident on BondsComment

However, so has Bradley. Bradley's probably had more. I still remember him throwing a bucket of baseballs on the field after a call he didn't like, ripping his uniform top off while on the field because he didn't like another call, going after fans in the stands and finally blowing up at multiple umpires over ball/strike calls.
Bradley was so bad that he became a regular on Sportscenter with his weekly/monthly blowups.
Both of these guys are nutjobs. Both are wrong. I still think Bradley should've never made this public though. The only reason to do so is self-serving. It hurts the team no matter how you look at it.Comment
