    Daric Barton

The A's are scuffling and I'm hearing Barton will be called up soon.

His K/BB rate is incredible. I've noticed they have shifted him to the OF recently. The A's better be careful with all the position changes. He was a catcher and then shifted to 1B and now the OF.

He's one of the prospects I really look foward to seeing in the bigs.

He was never going to make it as a catcher, so a corner infield/outfield position was next. I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up as a DH though. I just wish that Mulder trade would have never happened now. Barton would have looked great in lf next year. At least he is in the other league.

It's pretty common for young players to get shifted around the field looking for a right fit for their glove, especially when their bat is their true-calling. Pujols played some 3rd and LF... didn't hurt him any. I don't think it will matter in the least, as long as they get him away from catching.
