Hmm... now that the Giants are in position to make a run to take the division... If he does come back, maybe winning the West will be more exciting...

Um well he's only working out. That doesn't gaurantee anything, besides even if he comes back it'll take a few weeks to get into game shape. There's no way Bonds can come back this season IMO.

If coming back means for a pinch-hit at bat, that's huge. He may not get any starts, but I'm one of those firm believers that says he does.

But you're right; just because he's activated tomorrow doesn't mean he'll start playing at all. It just means... put him on, send somebody down.

Bond's coming back at 5o% is better than most player's at 100%. He also look's like he hasn't lost any muscle mass. I'm not saying he didn't take steroids, but he look's pretty thick still. Can't say that for "Pudge". Giant's have a good chance of winning the West. But I don't see them going any further than that. Unless they stay hot, just like Flordia did when they won it all.

Who gives a rats-*** about him. He finally cleaned himself from the 'roids now he wants to come back? I just hope he and Raffy finds some hole to cuddle in next year because I hope neither one of these players come back next year.

I hope he can make a comeback this year. It would finally make the NL West exciting again.

                Anyone else catch this quote?

"The real test is his ability to stand the rigors of what's entailed in a game: the stopping, the starting, baserunning, the standing in the outfield, the sitting in between innings. There's a lot that goes on that you really can't simulate,'' Sabean told the paper. "I'm at a loss right now to figure out how, incrementally, he would get to the point where he'd end up starting a game and staying out there for nine innings."
Ah poor Barry. Having to stand in the outfield, sit on the bench in between innings. What a hard life it is to be a baseball player.

You obviously have no idea as to what Sabean was talking about.

That, and you obviously haven't had an infected knee the size of a volleyball.

Say all you want about Barry Bonds, but he is a major threat at the plate. If he took roid's than why is he still the same size? Also, if you were a Giants fan you would love Bonds. Just like I did Randy Moss now I can't stand him! Every team has player's that are jerks, but you still love them! Thats sports. So quit hating on Bond's!

According to Brian Sabean Bonds will not be activated before tonghts game with the Dodgers, so we will have to wait at least another day.
