As a Cardinals fan I'm more worried now than I was yesterday.

If the Cardinals lose Game 2 tomorrow we are in trouble, Matt Morris going for us in Game 3 doesn't exactly inspire confidence then you have Peavy going in Game 4, granted he is injured and its hard to breathe with a broken rib let alone pitch but I have a feeling with him playing through the injury thats going to really motivate the Pads and they could pull the upset IMO.

I'm not saying that will happen but I could see it, Game 2 is going to be huge for us.

I can just see Peavys ribs becoming this years storyline like last years Bloody sock, hope not though.

But yeah, I don't think I would want Peavy out there, - no matter what he says. We here in San Diego all know he's a gamer, but it'd be risky for him to pitch again so soon, - even with the injections he'd be taking. The talking heads here in SD are basically saying the same thing and I doubt Bochy gives him the ball if there is a game four.

Do you think the Hall would want a slab of Peavys Ribs if they Padres were to go all the way due to Peavys heroism??

Well some people do get their bottom ribs removed (mostly models) so they appear slimmer, so if Peavy wouldn't mind a more slim look I'd say the Hall could inquire about it
