is a lot of baseball analysts and baseball fans say that the Wildcard isn't fair becasue they have a shot to win the World Series but didn't even win their divison. Well every other sport has the same thing where you don't win your division you can still possibly win it all. I mean it just doesn't make sense it's one extra team in when every other major sport have at least six spots for the playoffs. I just don't get how you can complain about that but every other sport it's stll possible to win it all even if you didn't win your divison. It just seems like natural evolution to the sport, more playoff spots. But maybe I'm wrong because I'm only 16 and only know the wildcard and 3 round playoffs for baseball. But I just don't get the beef with the wildcard every other sport is the exact same.

I like the wildcard. It makes baseball a WHOLE LOT better. Without the wild-card, you'd have byes. This isn't football. You're right, ballerzinc, in the NBA, an 8 seed who might be under .500 might win the NBA finals. At least all the teams in the MLB are above .500, and I believe the wild-card makes the playoffs more complete, just like the DH.
