How much for World Series Tickets?

Not sure which forum to stick this in... so if it needs moved..


If the SOX move onto the series (yes still a big if).. my family and I are trying to make plans to attend at least a part of the series (probably 2 games).. I live in Wichita KS so if St Louis was to make the series.. would probably go to the Tue-Wed-Thur games there. If Houston was to go, obviously a flight down there would be in order. Unfortunently, Chicago over the weekend out of the question as we already have tickets for the Nebraska at Missouri game next Saturday in Columbia. For anyone that has gone or knows... how much can I expect to pay per ticket from an online site/broker? Also, anyone think it will be possible to get 4 seats together for such a big event? My GF and my Mom want to go, but if so my Dad and I are the real life-long fans. I was thinking in the range of $300-400 per ticket... that is OK.. does anyone have any experience?

Yankee tickets this year woulda been $146 for reserved tier and I believe $74 for bleacher seats.

I don't have any experience but if STL makes the Series you better have all the luck in the world because tickets will be VERY hard to come by.

Im lookin for Sox tix too, for US Cell...how much do u think that will be? $65 for the cheapest seats for the ALDS and ALCS...i want game 7 cu thatd be an amazing game to go to

Yankee tickets this year woulda been $146 for reserved tier and I believe $74 for bleacher seats.

The MLB sets the prices so similar seats would go for the same everywhere.

i was lookin into goin to a game myself considering the north side may never host another one lol..

Tickets go on sale oct 18th (tues). here's what i found on the sox site:


World Series ticket prices, as set by Major League Baseball, are: Lower Deck Box $185; Lower Deck Reserved/Bleachers/Upper Deck Box $140; and Upper Deck Reserved $125.

Looks like it will cost a nice chunk of change to be in attendance

Well the tickets have already been sold by the teams so you'd have to go the route of ebay, scalper, stubhub, etc.

Cheap seats I'm seeing for the Cards appear to be in the range of $420 for game 3, and around $550 for games 4 and 5. Those are up in the nosebleeds to.

Didn't know that, Cards sold theirs a while back so they've been gone for a while, sounds like if he wants to see one at a reasonable price it'll have to be up in Chicago.

The prices aren't too bad actually if you get them directly from the team. I know to get Red Sox playoff tickets you need to enter a lottery, and if you win the lottery you still aren't guaranteed tickets. Make sure you check the White Sox site daily.
