    Bonds in the news again...

    This time for a good(?) thing.

    He told the Oakland Tribune that he is going to play for the United States in the World Cup. as much as people hate on him, there's no doubting that this will be a very good addition. I bet the Giants are unhappy, gives him more chance to injure himself.

    EDIT: Waiting for a link, saw it on ESPNNews.

    Also, this means, as they pointed out, he'll be subjected to Olympic/International drug testing.

    He also said he wanted to get down in playing weight...some 40 POUNDS!! Hmmm off the steroids ehh? I wish i could just drop 40 lbs in a span of a few months.

      Actually I look at it as a positive. He didn't play much last year and it gets him a chance to get used to playing at a lower weight again.
