i don't think anyone here in baltimore believes hawkins will solve our problems... but Kline hated baltimore and we just had to get rid of him. good luck to Kline and hope he gets his head together.

Get ready for 8th and 9th inning pain with LaTroy. I was used to seeing it for 2 years as a Cubs fan. Middle relief is where he should be.

I don't think we got him for closing duties. We're either going the free agent path (ie: todd jones), or maybe one of our younger players (ie: chris ray) will close. heaven help us if julio is put there again.

Hawkins was great as a setup man for the Twins but he hasn't been the same since.

honestly, an upgrade at C is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what we need. i honestly doubt getting hernandez would cause that much of a splash here.
