Exactly. These minors trades aren't making me happy. If we would've somehow signed Vlad Guerroro a few years ago I would've been happy and I like Tejada but any smaller trades/signings just don't do it for me. O's aren't going anywhere with Angelos at helm.
On to the trades....
Kline for Hawkins is a useless trade for both teams pretty much but I HATED..HATED!!!...that a-hole Kline (what the hell went wrong in B-more? Everything was fine is St Louis...) so at least we got rid of him.
The Ramon Hernandez signing is pretty good i guess but that's pending on the contract . I really hope that we didn't overpay him but he is one of the better catchers out there and will allow Javy Lopez to move to a position where he is less injury prone (lets see those 30+ HR's again please.) But how will his defense fair at 1st? I guess it's gonna be a wait and see approach.
Now the O's should move on to Starting pitching. I'm not asking for ace's but please sign some consistently good or talented pitchers and let Leo Mazzone work his magic.
