Best 1-2 Pitching Combo in NL?

This goes for people under contract right now.....NL Only.

I couldnt think of a duo for the 5th spot...so thats the best I could've done. If I'm omitting a duo, please remind me.

I voted for Wood and Prior simply for the fact that if they stay healthy and get their crap together, I dont think they could be stopped. Ever.

EDIT: Damn, maybe I should have put Sheets/Davis.

I would say Oswalt/Clemens if Clemens returns.

I don't think you can even put Prior and Woods up there, they are always hurt.

Yeah, that's who I was looking for. I still took the Houston duo though.

Oswalt/Pettite easy. Wood and Prior don't even deserve to be mentioned unless we are talking MVP Baseball.

Woody Williams and Peavy, no. Peavy is great but Williams is washed up.

I hope you're joking. Though Martinez/Glavine or Martinez/Benson probably would have been a better pick than Peavy/Williams.

I went with Oswalt and Pettite. Oswalt was probably the third best pitcher in the NL last season behind Clemens and Willis. And if Clemens returns, then the duo of him and Oswalt would be best. And one could argue Pettite was the 4th or 5th best starter in the NL last year, which is why I picked the Huoston duo.

Yeah, I had no idea who to put on the 5th spot, but I thought Peavy deserved to be up there.

                      Very spread out poll, though.
