    Hank Blalock

On ESPN.com there is an article titled: Rumor Central: Twins court Rangers' Blalock

Can someone with ESPN insider tell me what this is about. I'd love to see him in a Twins uni next year

I'm guessing the Rangers would want Jesse Crain and maybe JC Romero?

      BTW, Blalock outside of Arlington...

      .238/.296/.396/.692.

Yikes. I think Crain and Romero would be too much actually.

He would be an improvement from our current 3B. I'd give him Romero or Crain and Cuddyer for him.

the article says that the Twins would be willing to trade JC Romero & possibly Scott Baker for Blalock.. also the deal may be "expanded" to include Kevin Mench..

              Thanks for that update

If we have to give up Scott Baker then I say no to the trade!

This seems to be a huge stumbling block with GM's regarding Blalock.

He just hasn't hit well at all outside of Arlington. I read earlier that many GM's are just too concerned to risk giving up much for a guy who hasn't shown he can do well elsewhere.

No way would I give up Crain. He pitched too well and I've heard too much about him coming up through the minors to give up on him now.
