Re: LOL....poor Nats
You think they might have opted to ask him if he were willing to play outfield BEFORE they traded for him.
The team is in shambles. Bowden wants to go to the Red Sox, and yet continues to deal for the Nats... Assistant GM Tony Siegle may be headed to the Giants.. Frank Robinson may not be there a month from now, and the team still doesn't have an owner.
It is ridiculous that this team is making huge deals with their upper management in the chaotic state that it is in. Also, the mindset of players that willingly transfer to the Nats at this point is puzzling to me.
I am not sure if Soriano had to give consent to this trade or not, but if he wasn't given the option of declining the trade, I can totally understand his desire to not help the team by letting them move him around at will.Enjoy football? Enjoy Goal Line Blitz! -

who's the Nats SS now? Wasn't it Guzman last year? Didn't he have one of the worst seasons offensively?Comment

Re: LOL....poor Nats
Soriano doesn't play shortstop, he "plays" second. I put plays in quotations because he thinks he's a second baseman and has always played second but he's terrible at it. If the Nationals want to force him to play in the outfield he'll probably have to do it, so I doubt they're too concerned.Comment
