They still could be and i think they probaly will be the worse team in the majors again, Well They may be better then Marlins not sure...Im guessing Doug is gonna play first base and Sweeney plays DH? Mark is a good pick up for the Royals and should bring something to the table. Elarton Should be decent in the roation prob what #3 starter? Bako is a decent back up catcher so i'll say this is decent pick up for the royals, I just dont see this making them any better for the future at all. Itz like they wanna stay bad

Thing bout it is ..What exactly are any of these 4 guys gonna do for ur team..Maybe Gruz can play for 3-5 years with them but what do u get out of them..u wont do much better next year but win 5 -10 more games? and there not gonna do much for u in the future, I just think pickin up guys to make ur team look more experienced or such is pointless if itz not leading u in the right direction to winning

Huber would have been a better option at 1b than Mientkiewicz. Don't really understand that one.

Not sayin i predicted the White sox to win it this last year but i thought they'd make the playoffs....They had a very talented team and a real good pitching staff that finally came around this year and there Bullpen had a few surprises..So comparing the White Sox to the Royals is a big difference in my opinion

At least the infield should help the pitchers out. They can play some D but I dont know how they are going to score any runs.

Hey at least they're doing something. You can't just sit back, accept that you suck arse, and just play AA and AAA players. It's clear that they had SOME money to spend, so they went out and got some low cost players who might break out for whatever reason. They'll still be abysmal, but hey, they managed to sign somebody. Gotta give them credit for that.

I'm actually very surprised that Grudzielanek chose to play in KC over playing with the Mets, given that NY is likelier to be a contender than KC. I heard the Red Sox were interested in him before they acquired Mark Loretta.
