What? At this point I don't know why they trade Griffey. Between the 5 players they had for 4 spots, Casey was the one to go. Problem solved. Where did this rumor come from anyway?
    MLB: Cincinnati Reds
    NFL: Cincinnati Bengals
    NCAA Hoops: Xavier Musketeers
    NCAA Football: Miami Hurricanes
    NHL: Calgary Flames

Boston Radio...They would send Bronson Arroyo, Kevin Youkillis and a few prospects, also Matt Clement's name was mentioned, as well as David Wells for Griffey,Lopez,or some PTBNL...no way this'll happen...I WOULD LOVE Clement in the Reds Rotation, they mentioned Papelbon and Lester, Minor League pitchers in the mix also

Now these are just POSSIBLE scenerios...& not ALL are in the trade

I wanted him to come to the Yankees a few years ago. I like Griffey, so I hope he doesn't end up in Boston.

He needs to be a DH, not a centerfielder.

Doesn't matter where the wall is, you need to keep Griffey away from any kind of walls, also movement is a problem for him and his knees and calves, hamstrings, ankles, pretty much all he should be allowed to do for any team is hit and jog.

co-sign.... Although if Griffey goes to Boston and DH I think his career may turn around.

Where exactly are the Sox going to put Ortiz then? Shrek can't play the field.

It's going to cost the Reds both Griffey and Felipe Lopez to get Clement? Man...I'd love Clement in the Reds rotation but I'm not sure I'd do all of that. It'll be interesting to see what comes about from this, if anything.

No chance they'd include Papelbon or Lester. So long as that's the case, I'm interested.

Interesting. I would think they'd want him to play the field, I'm not sure how that would turn out. Unless they want to put Ortiz at first (considering Youkilis could be involved) which isn't THAT bad a move. Ortiz is sure-handed at first, but his range sucks. And that also means they would get a defensive first basemen to ride the bench, which means they would pull Ortiz late in close games for a defensive replacement, and I hate that.
