Where will the Jays finish?
Well I really don't see what is so special about them this year. They are better than last year but will not finish ahead of the Yanks or Sox. I think a lot of ppl are getting caught up in the moves they are making, or they are just stupid311st0%32nd0%133rd0%154th0%0Celtics-Red Sox-Patriots

Re: Where will the Jays finish?
Honestly, probably second, but well, yeah, I picked first.
Adding a #2 pitcher, closer, power bat and doubles hitter sort of covers all the weaknesses of the team last year. I'd be very surprised if they don't finish ahead of Boston or New York.Blue Jays, Blackhawks, AuburnComment

We will see. We won 80 games last year with a team that couldn't hit, and had a volatile closer. Hitting is solved, as is the closer situation.
Not to mention losing Halladay for almost half the season due to a freak injury.Comment

Guess we'll just have to wait and see. But I doubt they can finish higher than 3rd. The Sox are not done this off seasonCeltics-Red Sox-Patriots

I picked 2nd place, hopefully it'll be good enough to make the playoffs but I dunno it looks like the AL East is gonna be the most competitive division in baseball next year.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

If Healthy the Blue Jays have a good rotation and a good closer if he's not a one year wonder. Then have a nice lineup as well. The DuCross Brothers: Sports Internet Talk Show

As high as 2nd, wildcard. But I think they finish third close behind the Red Sox and Yankees.Comment

Re: Where will the Jays finish?
I see them finishing 3rd.
I don't see AJ burnett being worth that much money, and the off-season for them is reminding me of the Mets last year. They add some good players(although I'll take Pedro/Beltran over Glaus/Burnett/Ryan but thats just me) and everyone jumps on their bandwagon, says they're the sleeper team and look what the Mets did. Missed the playoffs.
I'll go with third, again.Comment

Still too early to tell with the Sox still having quite a few moves to do and whatever happens with Manny could completely change everything.Yankees

Re: Where will the Jays finish?
I think they'll finish second behind the Yankees, or the Red Sox, not sure which one will be better. But I think the AL Cental will get the wildcard so I don't see a playoff run for the Jays this year.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Re: Where will the Jays finish?
I say second and potentially a wild-card...The Bo-Sox got better in certain areas and suffered in others, though I agree that whatever happens with the Manny situation will tell the tale of what else could happen.
No one has talked about the Yankees potentially finishing behind both Toronto and Boston....On paper, I don't see that happening, but their roster is older and I don't have any faith in that starting rotation over 162 games. If it weren't for the fact that Boston's rotation was brutal as a whole last season, the Yankees wouldn't have won the division.
I say second still, but I wouldn't be that surprised if they won the division outrightComment
