    Any trade rumors involving him are probably out the window now. He's due 2.75 MIL this year, but with arbitration, he'll probably get double or triple that.

    I think he'll probably double his salary, but that's still a bargain compared to what pitchers are getting on the open market.

      Good point. Even doubling his salary is still a bargain considering what he can bring to the table. He just needs to stay healthy one of these years!!

      If any of the Prior trade rumors are true, this certainly has to throw a monkey-wrench into the plans.

        Why the Cubs would want to trade a talent like Prior is beyond me. I don't care if he's been injured a bit lately. I've read that those within the organization think (the good) Zambrano will be their true ace. I still think Prior has the higher celing.
