IMO ESPN in general is garbage now. From Sportscenter to the website, they just don't provide the content that I want. As SPTO stated "They provide for the dumb sports jock".
So, so true, with an emphasis on their content being crap. If you sit down and watch a game as an educated fan and then watch the highlights on Sportscenter, it's like watching a different game sometimes. Does anyone really enjoy hearing "top 10 nominee" references all Sportscenter long when the rankings don't stand for anything??

just curious... for those who no longer browse ESPN.com, which sport site(s) do you prefer now?

I still browse ESPN.com, but also SI.com, amongst others.

Foxsports.com has become my site of choice because their rumor section is free and I use MSN.com as my homepage.

            Re: ESPN = morons

ESPN has gone from reporting sports to creating movies, game shows, and now talk shows with Steven A. Smith. I think I even saw a show called ESPN-Hollywood. Does ESPN want to report sports anymore or do they want to become the next MTV? Stuart Scott is almost acting like a spoiled celebrity. "Booyah!" Hey, I don't mind a few jokes, but your job is to deliver us sports news, not to make the same damn joke. The line between sports and entertainment is getting ever so thinner...
I swear that one day you'll see a show called ESPN Cribs...

I go to rotoworld.com for a lot of individual player news.
