He stunk when they brought him up last year. As crazy as it sounds, I think Kazuo will have a breakout season if he stays healthy.

D.R. vs Venezuela (sp?) was on last night, one of the best baseball games I have ever seen. D.R. had a pretty big lead, 7-3 I think, but Venezuela came back to tie it up at 7 in the 7th. Then in the bottom of the inning, Miguel Tejada hits a HR that put D.R. up 8-7. 8th inning, Venezuela ties the game at 8-8. Bottom of the 8th, Jose Offerman hits a HR that puts D.R. up again 9-8. Top of the 9th, Alex Gonzalez hits a 3 run homer off Jorge Sosa to give Venezuela a 11-9 lead. Bottom of the 9th, D.R. has a little rally going against K-Rod, but K-Rod gets Ron Belliard to pop up to end the game.

Awesome game, the fans were awesome. If the WBC goes anything like this, it will be a huge success, whether Americans care about it or not.

he is young, you can't judge him on a few games he played. And please as a Met fan, I;m surprised you even said that about KAZ, I wan't his *** out of here.

I know all my friends think I'm crazy, but when Kaz is able to stay healthy and be on the field, he can be a nice little player. I guess I like him because he had a ton of clutch hits in the 2004 season. He also had a real strong September last year. I think fans turned on him too quickly. Even last year when Kaz was bad, look at his OBP compared to Jose Reyes...yep they are equal.
