Heard talk on our local radio this morning on a BLOCKBUSTER trade (Red Sox)

I was listening to our local radio station this morning, and there was apparently an article somewhere about the Red Sox and Expos in trade talks about trading Nomar to the Expos for Vladamir Guerrero. I seriously have no idea if it is legit or not, but they talked as if it were a serious trade talk.

Me, as a huge Sox fan, I have mixed feelings. I believe that Vlad is the second best player in the league behind only Bonds, and would love to have him on the Sox. But, Nomar was born to be on the Red Sox. I believe Nomar has 2 years left on his deal, and apparently will ask for too much money for a new contract from the Sox, and Vladamir still has 5 years left on his contract. Contract wise, I would rather have Vlad, but I just don't know. I love Nomar, but passing up as good a player as Vlad would be hard to do, and we all know Nomar hasn't been the same since he hurt his wrist. What do you all think of this trade? Once again, I have no idea if it is legit trade talk, so don't flame me to heck if it is false.

The talk in Mass has been Javier Vasquez and Vladimir to the Red Sox, Nomar to the Expos, then Nomar to the Dodgers fora handful of prospects.

If I could get Vasquez (a great young arm) and Vlad for five years, OR take a chance on Nomar staying in two, I take Vlad and Vasquez.

Hey, we fans can love players, but Theo Epstein has a job to build the best team possible. I hope Vlad comes to Boston

the chances of that happening are ZERO, and where are you guys getting your info? Vlad is going to be a free agent this coming year and will probably ask for double what nomar wants. Maybe Nomar and a prospect for Vasquez and vidro, or a prospect. There isn't 4 players on the redsox worth Vasquez and Vlad considering contracts.

the hell with the trade, what about the news of him (Nomar) marrying Mia Hamm. i though she was already married...
I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

No kidding...this is a HUGE disappointment...second only to Derek Jeter dating Jordana Brewster (the girl in my avatar). Bastards...they deserve better.
