I was listening to our local radio station this morning, and there was apparently an article somewhere about the Red Sox and Expos in trade talks about trading Nomar to the Expos for Vladamir Guerrero. I seriously have no idea if it is legit or not, but they talked as if it were a serious trade talk.
Me, as a huge Sox fan, I have mixed feelings. I believe that Vlad is the second best player in the league behind only Bonds, and would love to have him on the Sox. But, Nomar was born to be on the Red Sox. I believe Nomar has 2 years left on his deal, and apparently will ask for too much money for a new contract from the Sox, and Vladamir still has 5 years left on his contract. Contract wise, I would rather have Vlad, but I just don't know. I love Nomar, but passing up as good a player as Vlad would be hard to do, and we all know Nomar hasn't been the same since he hurt his wrist. What do you all think of this trade?
