Dodgers Visited My Work Today
Hey guys, just thought I would post about the Dodger Caravan visiting my work today. They're visiting some different schools today and tomorrow, and I got a good picture and a post up over at my site. If you're interested take a look at the link in my sig. It's very cool to see these famous people up close and personal, makes them seem like average joes. Except for Penny, he was dumb.

I'm willing to bet a lot of money that you won't think Grady Little is funny about five months from now. -

Originally posted by nathan118You can't argue with his record in Boston. Sad to think that all he is remembered for is the Pedro situation.
He actually apologized after winning a game by a lot of runs. He apologized. There is nothing you can tell me that will change my opinion about this buffoon. I just feel bad for Dodger fans that they have to endure this dope as their manager for the forseeable future.Comment

Re: Dodgers Visited My Work Today
Agreed. Little seems like a nice guy but a terrible manager. Those two years my dad and I would watch games together and wonder what the hell he was doing and just hoped the team would find a way to win. To think he had all of that talent on that 2002 team and did not even get into the playoffs floors me when I think about. Pedro and Lowe combine for over 40 wins and both finish in the top 3 for Cy Young, Wakefield joins them in the top 4 for ERA at the end of the season, Burkett is solid, and that offense...damn. That would have been a World Series team for almost any other manager, or at least a playoff one. And then came 2003...he mismanaged that team even worse (how long did he stick with Giambi while Ortiz rode the bench?). He was awful in the playoffs, which was only maximized by game 7. Good thing they won in 2004, because I'd still be tormented by that game. He stuck with Pedro when Timlin hadn't even allowed a baserunner the entire postseason! And Embree and Williamson were pitching lights out as well, so its not like he was short on options in that game. Ahh, thankfully he's gone.Comment
