Why? As long as he isn't starting a cult or whatever, who cares? I think it's funny. I've actually read up on the Dec. 21, 2012, stuff online. I don't think Scotty will be beaming me up when that date arrives like he does, but it is kind of interesting reading.

Well I was saying that in somewhat of a sarcastic way, he's just a nutjob.

I think this was a different wife. Anyways, I'm all for his right to believe this BS but I don;t want to hear about it, it's embarrassing.

How is it embarrassing? it's not like he's a family member and bringing dishonour to your family. It's also not like he's forcing his views on others. Lighten up and don't take things so seriously.

I would consider this forcing his views, slightly, but forcing. Even if he was asked about it, all he had to say was no comment. Instead he went on a rant about quadrants of space and vibrational energy. I mean, come on Dutch.

And it's embarrassing because 20 years ago nobody ever discussed this publicly because they'd be considered crazy. Now it's the norm, and that bothers me.

"I've been thrown in jail five or six times," Daulton says from his home in Tampa. "Nicole thinks I'm crazy. She blames everything on drugs and drinking. But I don't take drugs and I'm not a drunk. Nicole just doesn't understand metaphysics."
That kinda sounds like he might be a little on the bio polar side. He also seems to talk very well, but he's a nut!

OK, there are some ideas that are just crazy or dangerous... that in itself is undeniable (for those of you not old enough look up "Heaven's Gate" cult). We have every right to make fun of him for it... we just don't have any right to force him to do something by any physical or legal means. It his right to hold his beliefs, its my right to make fun of him for it. Especially when he seems to believe something that appears to be steeped in self-delusion. If I can't deride the good ol' street side prophet of doom then there's something wrong in this country.

Well you're entitled to your opinion but I'll say this, it's still not the norm. Esoterica has a cult following but it isn't widespread.

The best thing about him was his ex wife Lynn Austin (Playboy bunny) she was hot.
