I can't wait for both of these stadiums to open up.

I'll probably go to 10-15 Met games a year instead of one, hehe.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I'm guessing it's a "Supply and Demand" scheme.

I read that they wanted to make the new stadium "cozier" like PNC Park. They wanted fans closer to the action and to have a "homey feel". Of course, this from Newsday so take it for what it's worth:

Definately, I think I've been to two sold out Met games in my life. Not suprisingly, both were against the Yanks.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

^^^^^ They already did that 30 years ago. The place is falling apart, they need a brand new stadium.

I hope the new Yankee stadium resembles the yankee stadium prior to its renovations back in the 1970s. It kind of sucks that they made changes such as taking away the portion of the roof that Mantle hit. Besides, the one now is a little on the boring side.

Wow, I hear conflicting things about what its supposed to look like. Those pics make it look enclosed but Ive also read here that they want it to resemble PNC which is sort of open in the outfield. I think it would be better if it was enclosed since it would likely be louder. Could you imagine what kind of a crucible it would be to have it packed and loud and then the planes on top of that? Not a bad HFA.

From what I've heard they will bring back the roof facade. It's the one thing I want to see them bring back - I think it'd be rather neat.

Yeah, when Mantle hit the roof with that epic blast it became a part of history.

Hmm, not bad, it looks better than their current stadium although that box beyond the OF fence is a little reminiscent of SkyDome, which is interesting since the trend has been to get away from stadiums like Sky dome. It looks like they are going for both nostalgia and modern amenities in a way that may not work. Id still say it looks better than what they have now though.
