Chris Shelton. 4 HR's in 3 games, as a team the Tigers have hit 15 HR's in their first 3 games which is a ML record.

Before Sheltons last AB last night (in which he hit a rocket to right-center but CF made a great play) he was 9 for 12 on the season with 4 bombs.
He is really seeing the ball well right now. Also playing great "D" as well.

My P.O.D. goes to Jason Philips

He's not going to be on the big club for long (he'll probably be called down on Sunday) yet he hit the game winning basehit for the Jays last night.

I've known Shelton since Jr. High School and I'm glad he is doing so well!

                Morneaus playing well today

Too bad I have him on the bench for my fantasy matchup. That may cost me this weeks game.

Jose Reyes....Goes 3-5, Single, doubble, HR, 3 RBI's and 1 SB. Just a tripple shy of the cycle.

I know it's no player of the day but Joe Blanton pitched a 2 hit shutout with 6 k's against the Mariners last night.
