    Scoring %

This is the Division Placement, based on Runs scored instead of Wins and Losses... I'm bored, so hang with me. Teams in Red would make the Playoffs.

    AL East
    1. .558 - Boston Red Sox
    2. .548 - New York Yankees
    3. .531 - Baltimore Orioles
    4. .500 - Toronto Blue Jays
    5. .397 - Tampa Bay Devil Rays
    AL Central
    1. .765 - Detroit Tigers
    2. .588 - Cleveland Indians
    3. .455 - Minnesota Twins
    4. .446 - Chicago White Sox
    5. .413 - Kansas City Royals
    AL West
    1. .520 - Seattle Mariners
    2. .500 - Los Angeles Angels
    3. .440 - Oakland A's
    4. .386 - Texas Rangers
    NL East
    1. .587 - New York Mets
    2. .514 - Florida Marlins
    3. .505 - Atlanta Braves
    4. .475 - Washington Nationals
    5. .333 - Philadelphia Phillies
    NL Central
    1. .625 - Chicago Cubs
    2. .622 - Milwaukee Brewers
    3. .571 - St. Louis Cardinals
    4. .481 - Cincinatti Reds
    5. .442 - Houston Astros
    6. .426 - Pittsburgh Pirates
    NL West
    1. .561 - Arizona Diamondbacks
    2. .509 - Los Angeles Dodgers
    3. .476 - Colorado Rockies
    4. .475 - San Francisco Giants
    5. .440 - San Diego Padres
Enjoy this pointless excersize (although it may measure what the real success of your team is going to be).

    Re: Scoring %

Maybe in a month it'd be interesting too look at. Another thing to do would be to go back to 2005, and after the first month of the year use this same methodology to see who would have made the playoffs, Just to compare with what actually happened.
“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on Sheffield

Yeah, I'm pretty excited about the way the Mariners have started, but I'm going to wait another month or two before I start saying anything beyond third place. Interesting, though. I agree this would be better looked at in a month or so.

You could also look at one based on Runs Allowed and compare them...that might be interesting
