I thought New Busch wasn't set to open til June?

Oh well "marks this down" I'm sure this will be the answer to a trivial pursuit question 20-30 years from now.

Nah, it's open, I'm watching the game right now. Beautiful stadium, I mean, absolutely beautiful.

Well, first HR by a Cardinals player, Albert Pujols. He hit it a mile. And the fans did not throw it back...

We should be able to remember who the first Cardinals player was to hit a homer in the new park. He could end up being one of the best of all time.

I really should drive up over the summer and catch a game.

Mark Mulder becomes first pitcher to homer in New Busch.

What a game...he also hit a double earlier.

Another trivia question, who is the first pitcher to hit a HR in new Busch and first to get a curtain call.... Mark Mulder.

New Busch must be a hitters park. Kidding, but obviously it is too early to tell.

There are rumors that he's 29 or 30 and to me he looks older then 26 but I doubt we'll ever really know how old he is. Either way he'll be a hall of famer unless he suddenly just quits baseball or has a careerending injury.

Well, he didn't just show up here when he was drafted. He moved to Kansas City (Independance, MO, I think) and went to High School and Junior College there. So, I'm pretty sure the paperwork is probably a bit more reliable than some of these guys that come here when they're drafted.

As far as rumors, I think it's moreso un-imformed people wanting to stir up crap. Seriously, if you've every seen him up close and especially when he's smiling, he looks pretty young. It's just that he's got such a scowl and mature demeanor that people might say otherwise. And sure, he's got a receeding hair line, but I've known people in high school and college with less hair. It's not that uncommon.
