    BP 2006 Annual

For those who have it, has anyone read the interview with the un-named baseball exec at the end of the book?

    The only clue is:

Oh, be serious. Again, it's not that simple and you know it. And every time you mention something like that, you either imply or explicitly state that the club doesn't know the contract's going to be a rock around their neck down the road. In the case you're speaking of, we knew the last two years of a couple of deals were going to be bad, but we wanted those first couple of years so we could make a run at a title.
It was a very good interview, I just wish it could have been a little longer.
“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on Sheffield

Give me a little bit longer and I'll try to squeeze in the minor leagues AAA through low A. But only for caps of the bench players for Triple Play 1996 on the San Diego Padres.

I don't think so. It sounded like the GM of a team that has recently tried to make a title run but was unsuccesful. Besides I don't think Minaya would even agree to sit down with the guys at BP. That's just me.

What do I need to trade for a scan of the front and back cover of the book?
