Where to sit at Fenway/get tickets?

I posted a while ago that I might be going to Fenway but now I know I'm going for sure. Heading to the game on June 29. I would like to spend no more than $85 per ticket but somehow also get decent seats. The seating system makes no sense to me. I've been looking on Ebay/Stubhub and there are several sections with the same number but different areas.

So, any suggestions? Also, any tips for good place to buy tickets other than Ebay/Stubhub? I would do Craigslist as I use it a lot for local but not sure if I trust buying from someone on there without a feedback system.

Bleacher seats are uncomfortable but are incredibly entertaining if you get put in CF with all the drunk college kids, lol.

I had one guy behind me who was yelling down at a like 16 year old girl(the guy was at least 25) trying to get her to flash him...and then started throwing popcorn down at her boyfriend

Avoid these sections as best you can: 4-10, 90-94. In those sections, the seats are aimed at left field and you have to turn your head to watch the action at the plate. Everywhere else, aside from obstructed view, is good, including the bleachers. Any of the yellow and red sections on this seating map are what you should be aiming for, but they won't come cheap.

If you're tall or fat avoid the Grandstands (secs 1-33) These seats are tiny. The Bleachers are probably your best bet for the price you're looking for if you're buying them from someplace like stub hub. Just make sure to get lower bleachers which are the orange section on the map posted above.

I've sat pretty much everywhere in fenway, so just list the tickets and I'll let you know how they are.

My friend was able to snag some SRO tickets on Ebay. We'll be up there the 23rd-25th for the Phillies series.

The first two are standing room only. It says first base pavilion but thats BS. Standing room only tickets aren't restricted to where you can stand (besides the monster). The last is Bleachers 38. It's the orange section on this chart. Those aren't that great.

If you don't mind standing or constantly changing seats, get the standing room only because you'll have a better view. The best bleacher seats to get are sections 40-43 because they're a lot lower.

Scratch what I said about the SRO. They're on the roof, which is better than the normal SRO's. Those are new sections and I havnt been up there yet. If it's like the normal roof box seats, there will be some empty ones, you just have to make it past the ushers.

So you think they might be better than regular SRO since there are only certain people let in there? Those pictures on the listing look like it's a good view so I might go with one of those.

I checked out seat data and while we'll be under the top level a little it's not too bad. I'm only 5"10 and the guy going with me is about the same so the small seats won't be too bad.

Definitely better than regular standing room because you need those tickets to even get on the roof. You'll also have a better chance of finding empty seats, but some of ushers can be pretty strict so don't head to the seats unless they're looking the other way.

Ehh, not a big fan of those. They're in RF so you'll be looking next the whole game. Also, some grandstand seats have partially obstructed views because of poles holding up the roof.

Also, even at 5'10 those seats can be cramped.

Those aren't bad. The only place you won't be able to see is right below the CF wall.

Yeah, Im excited. I wanted to be fairly close to the field if I was going to be in center field since Id miss even more of the field if I was higher up I think. In any case, Im a little worried about the line of sight and having players obscure my view of the game. Im not sure what to expect in this regard.
