Yeah, heard about it. Should be a good move, Floyd is a very good power hitter, so this should help the Mets in the corner OF position. They now need to ship some salary, and get rid of a guy like Cedeno or something.

NL East this offseason made the most moves and trades.
Good acquires for the mets this offseason.
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "

Wow Phillips is really going all out here. He probably figures that if he doesn't get it done this year, he's probably gone.

I'm originally from Shrewsbury, Ma - right next to Worcester and an hour and twenty minutes from Boston. Growing up, I used to visit Fenway for a game once or twice a year. In my 22 years of live, I've been there colse to thirty times - so to call me a fan would be an understatement.

Off subject, but I currently reside in Amherst, where I just graduated from UMass today. Feels really freakin' good, too.

Glad to see other Sox fans on the board, by the way

The Mets need one more pitcher and a 3rd baseman. Although I bet Joe McEwing could play 3rd.

iI think we could even start Mike Bascik Or Grant Roberts as our fifth starter....Sign Bill mullur for thrid and bring back Desi Relliford to play short for one year I like him, he works hard and got a bett bat then most avabile..
