With Bartolo Colon on the way back from the DL Jered may not only push Jeff out of the Angels rotation but off the team alltogether.

That would be something. However...

The talk right now is that when Colon comes back the Angels may send Jered Weaver back down to the minors. Another rumor is that the Angels could put Jered in the bullpen and send Kevin Gregg down, keeping Jeff in the starting rotation.
I don't understand this at all, Jered has been outstanding since being called up while Jeff has been a trainwreck. It's no mystery why the Angels are battling the Mariners for last place.

All I have heard here is that Jared isn't going any where, Hes in the rotation legit. There is lots of talk that When Colon gets back that it would End Jeffs run with the Angels since right now they are just to find someone to take him in a trade.

Or another Rumor is that they would Keep Jeff and Trade Ervin Santana to the Devil Rays for Carl Crawford.

That's an intriguing rumor...Crawford would be a nice replacement for Garret Anderson in LF, who's not getting any younger...but the Angels don't need another speedy guy, they need a slugger.

And as stated...they'd be absurd to send Jered Weaver back down, when Jeff is 3-9 with a 6.15 ERA. Ew.

There's no way Tampa will trade Crawford, he's too damn good. The Angels are certainly in a bit of a quandry now with the too many pitchers problem. Logically, you would want to keep your 5 best pitchers, which would mean Jeff Weaver receiving das boot.

However, injuries ALWAYS happen to starting pitchers, and getting rid of Weaver hurts depth. Obviously, Colon will occupy a spot as long as he is healthy. This is why I think they'll send down Jered Weaver; he has the options remaining and it's the least risky of all the choices.

Of course, I would prefer if Jered Weaver stays up because he I picked him up for my fantasy league.
