Normally, I am not a fan of the classics in jerseys. I like a lot of the newer designs. That said, baseball, for some reason is a sport where I prefer the classic looks.
Yankee Pinstripes (Although I hate the team). Sharp look, classic.
Detroit Tigers though is my all-time favorite. I like the crisp, clean look of the home whites, with the Old English D and just enough piping to produce a wonderful jersey. I really would like them a lot less without the piping on the jerseys, as that produces a contrast which is good.
On jerseys in general, some contrasting is good. I don't like teams that have solid colors, such as the A's home whites. Other than the word "Athletics" across the front, they are too white. Need some lines in there for additional color and contrast.
Call me weird too, but I really like the look of the "sleeveless" jerseys, such as a lot of the teams wear now (Angels, Texas, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay).
