Re: Whats with Mark Mulder?
Does Mulder have an arm injury that no one is talking about? I can't believe such a good pitcher could turn to crap like this.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I don't care what the company line is.
This is abnormal.
Something ain't right with Mulder.
I don't even have it in me to rip him.
He's helpless out there.
Velocity is down. Ball doesn't go anywhere near where he wants to spot it. A defenseless pitcher.
I actually felt bad for the guy tonight -- not bad for his station in life; he has it made. But seeing a guy just absolutely humilated like that ... pretty tough stuff.
Especially if we find out later that he's been pitching with some sort of injury.Comment

Re: Whats with Mark Mulder?
An MRI on Mark Mulder's left shoulder reportedly showed a shoulder impingement, inflammation of the rotator cuff and slight fraying of the labrum.
Mulder is likely out through the All-Star break and could be sidelined for significantly longer than that. The Cardinals hope he can avoid surgery.
Not good for Mulder. At least this means the Cards won't be resigning him anytime soon."My favorite word in English is 'youneverknow.'" - Joaquin AndujarComment
