I dare you. Now that Russ Adams has been called back up, IMO, the Jays have the best lineup in Baseball 1 through 9. His OPS was over .800 in May before he got sent down because of his fielding problems...

Let's see. The Jays are 1st in BA, 3rd in OBP, 1st in SLG, 1st in Runs, 2nd in HR, yet have struck fewer than all but 1 team. I think its safe to say they have the best lineup in baseball thus far.

Yeah...they're certainly one of the, if not the, best line-ups.

My only knock on them is that they're middle of the pack in walks, but that's kind of moot when considering they're 3rd in OBP and hitting .298 as a team.

I'd say Cleveland... We have a better hitting CF in Sizemore, Hafner is the better DH, Martinez is the better catcher, Ben/Perez as a tandom are better than Overbay, Belliard is hitting in the .270's.... Blake is having a career year, Michaels is doing decent and our only two slow spots are 3B with Boone, and SS with Peralta.

Overall while the Blue Jays have slightly better stats than the Indians as a team... and only slightly, I do believe if you need to pick an offense for one game you have to go with the Indians due to the explosive nature of their offense. IMO.

Anywho I think the Jays are at least in the top 3 in terms of batting order. If they can only get some decent SP and the bullpen pitches better then this team would be scary good.

Mets do have a damn good line-up.

Can't go against the Yankees if everyone was healthy, even as a Sox fan. That line-up would've been scary if Matsui/Sheff didn't go down.

The Blue Jays have a better lineup than the Yanks presently constructed. If the Yanks had Sheff and Matsui back the Yanks would have the better lineup. Cano would be batting 8th that tells you all you need to know.

The thing about the Blue Jays is they just have good solid guys at every position compared to most teams who will have your 3-4 big bats and everybody else who is not nearly as good. Which makes it a whole lot tougher on pitchers knowing there is no easy outs.

Rollins, Utley, Abreu, Burrell, Howard, & Rowland can cover up for Bell & whoever plays catcher.. plus you have Delluci off the bench
