I would say gameplay, and HH has it down pack. But thier animtions are horrible so that took me out of the game. Never played ASB, but the graphics have all ways looked great since N64. And ASB seems to have more features. I'm not talking features like sliders. But franshise and season features like stats that really arent accounted for and extra milestone stats. Things like that. But all in all, its got to be all 3.
Mostly gameplay. If it plays like a real baseball game, I'm satisfied.
One ting that alot of ppl dont mention is the most important thing in baseball games. Is the batter/pitcher matchup. Its the most important. We need walks, ppl hit by pitches, pitching around the batter, and stats that judge what a hitter bats lifetime of a certain pitcher. to make the chnces of getting a hit harder. Honesly, I'm not for the power swing or a contact swing. I just want the stats to determine a hit, all we do is swing the bat a the right time.

We could get one or the other on the previous gen. We should be getting all three.

Since i'm a huge baseball fan, there are a couple of factors that need to be included in a game. There has never been a game that has completely fulfilled my needs. I guess i'm just picky.
In order of importance
1-Gameplay-realism. Realistic stats, animations, etc.
2-Graphics-WSB has just blown me away
3-Sliders-3 or 4 difficulty settings arent enough. I need sliders
4-Franchise-Financial structure has to be good (actual dollar amts, not points. Stupid cpu trading is annoying.
5-Minor Leaguers-A game must have all the minor leaguers. At least the ones that have a chance at making the major leagues. I hated how ASB last year, they didnt have minor leaguers who hadnt made it to the big league level.
6-Online play-I'm not sure which games will support it, but it would be stupid to make a game these days that doesnt support it.

IMO, WSB was the best baseball game I've ever played, it has all 3 and is just adding on this year BIG TIME...as far as its competitors, ASB I think the graphics are horrible, and I don't want to play a game where I have to swing before the ball is even pitched in order to hit it. I've never played HH so I can't say anything good or bad about the game.

I don't like ASB much. I can get 40+ hrs practically with anyone who has decent power. HH not at all, couldn't ever track stats..way too dificult lol, and I don't see what the big deal about the gameplay is. It's the same if you ask me.
