    Bob Uecker

I just got done watching Major League (One of the best comedies ever). One question, is he like that during Brewers games, busting jokes every once in a while? I swear he would be the best announcer to listen too.

He was interviewed by the Cubs announcers during today's game, and he's a funny guy. I don't think he's as much of a smart *** as in Major League, though.

The Ohio part might have something to do with it, too.

I've always wondered that as well.... And yes, Major League did play a part in building my love for the Tribe.

I've only watched about a half-dozen Brewers games on my travels to Wisconsin, but I was somewhat disappointed to learn that Uecker, while
occasionally funny, is pretty much straight-laced when it comes to the real baseball games. The funniest color man I ever heard was Bill Murray when he filled on a Cubs/Expos broadcast while Harry Carey was out ill.

Yah Bill Murray was funny - he said Gallarragga about as well as Harry used to.
