Coco Crisp's catch from last night

I'm biased, but this is one of the best plays I've seen all year, especially considering it prevented the tying run from scoring.

Without a doubt one of the best plays of the year. And it was the best play that I've seen live this year.

best play I've seen... Although Zimmerman on the Nats has made some great plays as well... Also can't forget the Iguchi(SP) play from earlier this year at 2nd base.

This Aaron Rowand play also comes to mind:

          Great, great play.

I like it more than the Rowand catch.

The Iguchi play was great but I don't like it because it was pretty dumb to even make the throw. He almost put the tying run on 2nd in the 9th.

A great catch and a game saver...especially when Beltran just got a base hit, and he would have scored if Coco didn't catch it.

After last night, what he did to manufacture the winning run and save the lead with that catch...he's official now. It's pretty much all everyone talked about at work today, which is pretty impressive considering it's the 4th weekend.

The Rowand and Coco catches are both great for different reasons. Rowand gets praise for the fearlessness with his catch and Coco with sheer athletic ability. I don't know which one is better, but both will be on the Web Gems special at the end of the season, for sure.

I like how Timlin had the same reaction my dad and I had at the catch. We both just went "WOW!" when it happened.

We were watching this in the bar at our "social" at Orientation...had literally just turned the game on that inning. We were all just like "holy ****" when he actually caught it.

It was even more amazing in person! The place went nuts after the catch. I have some pics I'll post sometime soon.
