The game I'm most excited for is WSB 2K3. Last year's WSB was awesome. I've never played a game where one game I can win 12-0, then lose the next 5-2 or something. The game was actually a challenge, w/o sliders. This year's game has sliders, which can provide even more of a challenge (depending on how u tweak them). The graphics, the sound, are second to none. Awesome franchise mode, that has been refined for this year. With all the other stuff that's been added and refined, it has the potential to be incredible. Last year's version was definitely the best baseball game I had ever played, and I don't think it would be stupid to expect anything less from 2K3.
I saw the high heat movies yesterday, the graphics are horrible. I know its early but I saw guys like sliding into a base that was actually a few feet to the left, and ugh the graphics are just horrible. Let's be honest, things that look good, catch our attention. If graphics don't mean anything, then let's all go back to Bases Loaded on Nintendo. I mean come on, we got xboxs and PS2s, and what not, yes gameplay is important, but to just say graphics aren't needed if gameplay is hot, is like saying a relationship can work without good sex.
ASB, have no interest in this game whatsoever. I mean, a game where I have to swing before the ball even leaves the pitcher's hand in order to hit it is just pointless. Graphics were blah, I'm still hugging my xbox for ever putting that game inside it.
MLB, I don't have a PS2, and its 989 anyway right? enough said.
MVP Baseball, the screenshots don't look bad, but I mean I just can't pretend that TP 2002 never existed. Gracias a Dios for half.com. I couldn't get rid of that game fast enough. I don't have any faith in EA making this game realistic unless it was football.
Microsoft is making a baseball game? It will probably fall somewhere in the middle of the pack, if it is coming out in May, good luck selling copies.
