The guys that I saw that really impressed me were Alex Gordon, Billy Butler, Matt Lindstrom (anyone who's hitting 101 MPH on the gun is impressive!) and Humberto Sanchez.

Of course it's tough to judge anything in 1 game where pitchers only throw 1 inning.

I went to the futures game when the All-Star game was in Seattle and had a blast.

Radhames Liz is SICK. He's been dominating high A ball so far, and he looked good in this game. Fastball was 96-97, and the off speed pitch looked good also. He faced two batters, struck out one, and got a flyout. The only bad thing about the flyout is that the batter was another Orioles prospect, Nolan Reimold.

Yeah it's a good time. It's fun to see the young guys hustling. Even an easy grounder to SS was a close play at 1B every time.

Lindstrom blew away the first 2 hitters - striking out both. If my memory is right, the third hitter fouled off 3-5 pitches before flying out to end the game.

cameron maybin (cf Tigers) was in my advanced PE class my freshman year in hs. i hit a turn around jumpshot right over his head when we were playing basketball one day, then the rest of the game i took 3 shots, two he swatted out of bounds and the other i air balled cause i didnt want to get swatted again. i hope he does become faumous so i can tell this story.
