he's a really good teacher and trust me he will make them work a lot harder than Hal McRae made them work. I think they will do a lot better this year. It's just a good thing that my M's got Randy Winn in the deal though.

What is the expression, "you cant polish a t*rd"? Hell do wonders for TB just as Casey Stengal did for the Mets. Thats no discredit to Pilella. I think he is a great manager but this is the Devil Rays. Remember they are into giving front office jobs to people who may not have credentials for them such as Wade Boggs.Comment

He'll give them credibility but he just doesnt work well with younger players. Hopefully he'll surround himself with a coaching staff that can help teach some of the great prospects they've got coming up. On the other hand, it'll be exciting to tune into baseball tonight to see him freak after they've lost like 10 -15 games in a row
