    My White Sox trip.

Today I got some VIP passes to go into and onto US Cellular Field. It was really cool. The visitors clubhouse is very nice. Here are some pictures.

the last picture is the snack bar for the visitor's locker room. Overall it was a fun experience, and you can't beat free hotdogs.

It was called "the Grinder Bash." Do your teams do anything like this? What are your experiences like?

    Your first link isn't working.

That's pretty cool, though! Thanks for the shots.

That's pretty cool. Too bad it had to be the White Sox though

The Braves have FanFest every year, but it's prior to the season and you're not allowed inside the actual clubhouses.

Here's some pics from our '04 outing. (Wasn't held in '05 and we didn't hang around long this year.)

Me on the top steps of the dugout...

Me and my crew sitting in the dugout... (As you can tell, it was a cold as balls day in February)

        The Braves clubhouse...

And, finally, me shagging flies out in left-center...

Thats pretty cool. Was that Scotty P behind you in the second pic? I've been dying to get out on the field at US Cellular. Even moreso at Wrigley. I always wondered when a player steps into the batters box and they see their face on the jombotron, do they get a little bit discouraged when you see at stat line like:

He is 4-62 in his last 20 games.

His BA is .192 in 50 games this year

He has a 0.099 OBP since joining the team in May

Wouldn't it suck to go to bat with those stats looking right at you?

Anyway, I almost had the opportunity to play at Comisky back when I was in HS. We were one game away from the city championship and we almost got no-hit but a school called Clemete. Thier pitcher was clocking in at close to 90 MPH.

I haven't had anything similar to this but I have played in the Metrodome. It was really weird because the field was really bouncy. I wish I could have played on the newer field turf to see how different it is compared to the old crap. I actually got close to hitting it out to left field, that was pretty cool. I have no idea how though.
