Why can you trade after the dealine?
I don't really follow baseball a lot, but I'm just confused why the Red Sox can make a trade after the deadline.Tags: None -
Re: Why can you trade after the dealine?
The real trade deadline is August 31. July 31 Trade Deadline is the last day that teams can trade without players having to clear waivers. For the month of August, teams can still trade, but any players involved must clear waivers (meaning, that no other team puts in a card that says "I want Player X").

Just as an assist to Kelvarr, it's July, not June, 31st. I can tell that's what you meant to say with it but just helping out.
BTW, sweet sig, something that is so true but I never thought about.Calvin- "You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocketship underpants don't help."Comment
