I dont really care cuz the analysts on ESPN dont know what they are talking about most of the time anyways. I'd rather get my news from the DSR and I believe all of us in Michigan can always use more Mario Impembla and Rod Allen.
If the Twins were in a big market, they would be the biggest story in baseball.

:y4: I actually can't stand Mario and Rod...they seem like a couple of morons to me, which is why I usually listen to Tigers games on the radio now.Comment

I understand that, I'm just saying how it can be possible for other fans to get upset over media attention or lack thereof.I write things on the Internet.

In other news, Florida's army of rookies and sub $15-mil payroll are now just 4 games out of the Wild Card.
And Josh Johnson still leads the NL in ERA, while I still believe Cabrera is the second best hitter in the league behind Pujols.Comment

If the Mets, Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, or Cubs had come back from 8 games under .500 in May, to a half game ahead in the Wild Card in late August, you would have every major media baseball analyst in the country slobbering on them. I guess a team with the leagues leading hitter (Mauer), a potential Cy Young winner (Santana), and a legitimate AL MVP candidate (Morneau) can't even get into the first half hour of SportsCenter. Oh, but these people will be the first to say "OH, they aren't for real, they're a small market team, oh look at those cute Twins" if they happen to fall out of it (which they won't). Why can't these turds see that the Red Sox are done, the White Sox are starting to break down, and the Twins are surging into the playoffs.
I agreed the most with your statement on the Sox (both red and white), and I too can see the intensity that the Twins are playing with. Whereas I admittedly had a hard time trusting twins players to do well this year, now that they've proven themselves, I'm a believer. I'm also a believer that it is impossible for Santana to do anything of significange unless it is late, and not early in the season.Comment

I know they are horrible but I just love the fun they have while announcing. They still act like nobody is watching them (like past seasons)... I love the long running jokes on the telecast like Pink Cotton Candy, Chelli's Chilli, and the charging the pitcher incident in Japan. My friends and I just laugh and have a great time, we also think of how hot a Rod and Mario love child would be. We do great Rod impersonations. Rod's most recent quotable, "the guys who hit the 1 and 2 pitchers, now they drive the Cadillacs, Mario... the guys that hit the 4 and 5 pitchers, they drive the volkswagons"My Teams:
