Re: Who will win the NL batting title
Sanchez pulled away some today.
Im just glad to see the Marlins can win with Cabrera having a 0-X game, since that does happen from time to time (though not often)Comment

Sanchez 0-3 so far while Cabrera is 1-2.

Re: Who will win the NL batting title
Sanchez is starting to tire even more (like I mentioned in my first post). He might need to take 3-4 games off to regain some energy.
With that said, great year for him. Not many people aside from Pirate fans knew what he was capable of. Would be nice though to see a guy come out of nowhere to win the NL batting title (even if I'm not a fan of the award based on the stat it represents).Comment

Re: Who will win the NL batting title
Truthfully, whether Sanchez wins or not isn't too important to me. The Pirates have larger issues to worry about.Comment

Re: Who will win the NL batting title
Freddy Sanchez has jumped out in front in this race. He's actually now leading all of MLB in batting average. I guess I was off when I thought he was tiring out. Oddly enough, the Pirates have been winning since the All Star Break - 35-27.
Sanchez .346
Cabrera .338
Mauer leads the AL at .344Comment
