                  He has plenty of productive years ahead of him if he doesn't get hurt.

                              There are a couple guys in the NL with quite a higher VORP and RAR than Howard. No award this year is "hands down".

                                              Hey, why do we need OBP, OPS, and RBIs, when we have the world's most obscure stat like VORP?

                                                  My favorite stat is runs created. Right now Howard leads overall but Pujols leads runs created per 27 outs. So, imo, it's really close between those two.

                                                          My problem with VORP is that while a "look" at the results makes the stat appear reasonable, no one knows how it's actually calculated.
