    Gonzales, D-Backs Part

He won't be a D Back next season, I'm gonna really miss him. He is the face of the organization but I guess it was his time; thanks Gonzo for all the memories!

Indeed a sad day, another team will be lucky to have him, he's still got game.

I could see him going to either Texas to DH for Buck Showalter (assuming he's still there) or to St.Louis since it looks like Jim Edmonds may be on the way out.

The Blue Jays could always use a true DH in the lineup for the right price.

Wow, it'll be weird seeing him in any other uniform. He's been the heart and soul of that DBacks organization for so long.

He has done more for Arizona than any other athelete that has played a professional sport. He's such a classy guy, has a wonderful family and it's gonna be hard next year to not see him on the field. I know for sure he will come back to live here when his career is over or will atleast keep him home here. He's a total Arizonan.

There have been rumors since spring training that the Cardinals were interested in Gonzo. And with Edmonds injury and Encarnacion's abiltiy to play center and Duncan's ability to play right and LaRussa's penchant for 40 year old outfielders.....I could see this happening.

It was unfortunate for everyone to think he was on steroids because of his inflated years. I guess we will never know.
