There's a thirdbasemen that the Padres could really use to clog up their hole there... but once again they won't go after him even despite having the money to spend if he goes in free agency.

We still need a power bat, that's priority #1 for me. We have a surplus of young pitching in the minors.

When I first saw this thread last night, I almost wrote something similar. When D Lee went down, and the Cubs needed him to step up he did nothing. The stats look nice, but I have issues with him. Speaking of D Lee, prayers go out to him and his family. Hopefully a miracle can happen for them.

How quickly you forget the '03 and the '04 seasons. There not a more clutch player on the Cubs those season the Aramis.

Does anybody else remember Fernando Tatis' 8 RBI's in one inning? Yeah... he had to hit two grand slams to do it.

I don't think anything will ever beat that.
