    Harden's comeback after months: 7 K's through 3 innings

Things looking great for this young gem. Macha gave him a 60 pitch limit, but they ended up pullin him after 3 anyways as a precaution (Maybe the Twins should take notes on that :wink.

The best part is, he didn't come out of the game hurt, so we'll definitely see him again.

It's about time the A's fans got to see a glimpse of the great pitching staff we were promised - Zito/Haren/Loaiza were holding their own all year, but add Harden in there, and we got a serious contender to face the Yankees.

Really starting to get exciting -- God, I love this time of the year.

A combo of Zito, Haren, and Harden would be deadly to face in the playoffs.

I'd love to see him comeback for baseball's sake. Another great young pitcher. But as I learned last year, and this year. Dont' get your hopes too high with him he has the Mark Prior syndrome. Or do we call it the Rich Harden syndrome?

This is the best A's team we've had in 14 years, in one of the worst overall AL's in a while.

          We've got our hopes up.

Both teams need to get past the first round before we can even think about that.

Someone's been sipping the kool-aide. You think this rotation is better than the Hudson, Mulder, and Zito trio they sent out there in 2001, 2002, and 2003? Not to mention those teams had Miguel Tejada at short and a healthy Eric Chavez. If Harden can give them something this year then maybe they'll compare to those teams but let's be realistic here. Those A's teams of a few years ago were really good teams that just got unlucky.

I don't think it's Kool-Aid for anyone who thinks they have a chance in the AL.

A's - Good pitching, inconsistent hitting.
Twins - Good pitching, inconsistent hitting. Young pitching can explode!
Tigers - Good pitching, inconsistent hitting.
Yankees - Inconsistent pitching, good hitting.

And you only have to win 3. I think anyone has a chance!

I love to watch Harden pitch, and think he is one of the great young pitchers in the game. I just hope the guy can stay healthy.

Where did I say they didn't have a chance to win? I just argued that this team isn't better than the teams they had in the early 2000's.
