What a outing from Cabrera. He has the stuff to be great in this league, it is just a matter of consistency.Comment

Re: Daniel Cabrera with a no-no through 7
I felt bad for Cabrera but at least he looked like he was having fun throughout the game.
BTW Michael Kay is an A-hole. He complained about the error from Roberts. That thing was no where close to being a hit. I wanted to slug him one for complaining and saying if Cabrera gets the No-Hitter then people would question that scoring call.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Maybe this game can help sell D-Cab as part of a package for Teixiera. D-Cab is my boy, but I have a feeling he's never going to be consistently dominant like he should be.Comment

Re: Daniel Cabrera with a no-no through 7
It seems like every year there's this stretch where a bunch of different pitchers come out and near no-hitters within the same period of time....it's kind of odd.Comment

Re: Daniel Cabrera with a no-no through 7
I would do it in a heartbeat. We have some young guns that seem to be more polished than DCab (Loewen, and hopefully Penn) that can pick up the slack. If we're able to bring a power hitter to our lineup, we'd be so much more formidable.Comment

Re: Daniel Cabrera with a no-no through 7
Last night, for example, the Yankees weren't exactly playing their top lineup."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
