Sounds good, all night games for the Yankees. I'm hoping if they play a game 4 on Saturday that it's a day game though, or i might have to miss it.

      I'm hoping we don't need a game 4

Whew, thank God all the NY teams are on in prime time. Speaking for the entire rest of the country, I really don't give a damn about any of the other teams or players in the playoffs. But I have a job during the day, so a big thank you to Fox and ESPN for getting all those other meaningless games out of the way during the day so that I don't have to waste my time watching any of those non-NY teams.

                  Re: Division Series Schedule

I have a feeling it's going to be another Yankee ALCS. The Tigers are backing in to the playoffs as badly as possible.

And any post-season team that's counting on Kenny Rogers to contribute anything is really out of it's mind.

I would pretty much be willing to bet anything that the Tigers will bend over and grab their ankles at the first sign of adversity.

Argh I hate the early start for my A's.

That's at 10 A.M. on the West Coast.

                        Re: Division Series Schedule

I think the scheduling for the ALDS is BS. I mean the MLB realizes the Dome is a tough place to at, so they try and take that advantage away by making the Twins play @ 11 while everyone is at work. I know a lot of fans will skip work, but I think the Yankees should be forced to play a day game too. Thank god I'll get to see game 3 since I don't have school on Friday, but I think the scheduling totally favors the Yankees. I know that more people will be interested in the Yankee/Tiger series, but the fact that A's fans have to get up at 10 am on a weekday to watch their team play is STUPID. My guess is the scheduling was planned before the teams were determined, but I think this needs to be addressed! That's my rant and I know most of you will disagree with what I had to say, but I feel the Twins should get a primetime game for the sake of the fans of both the Athletics and Twins.

                          Re: Division Series Schedule

It all comes down to ratings.

Yankees draw more ratings than all the other teams, hence why they play on prime time.

But why so early in the morning? I know all the tv stations care about ratings and money, but 11AM is way to early for playoff baseball. Push it back to atleast 3PM, who cares if you have to play 2 games at once just to make it work?

I doubt they really worry about how early a baseball game is, as long as they get the ratings. And they'd lose ratings if they had two games at the same time.
